Visit details:
Allow two hours for a group visit.

No special equipment is required to prepare for the visit, other than a pencil for each person.

After the visit: extend your stay in Clérac by enjoying local amenities, including a restaurant, bakery, and grocery store, as well as a picnic area with facilities for horse riders near the pond, accessible via the “Promenade de la Lune” (Moon Walk) trail.

Access:
Via the greenway: formerly a railway line, “La Galope Chopine” is now reserved for pedestrians, horses, and cyclists. It connects Clérac (at the Genêt locality) to Chevanceaux and continues towards Barbezieux. Access to the village of Clérac is signposted.

Description:
The museum was founded by a Clérac resident, René Soulard, a passionate collector of antique tools. The museum showcases life in times past and nine rural trades that represent the economic history of the commune of Clérac. Trade descriptions:
